Course Details
The Door Supervisor course is an accredited qualification which has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the necessary skills and application for those who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Door Supervisor. The SIA requires that you must complete some distance learning BEFORE you attend the first day of the course. Upon booking this course with us, you will be emailed all the course resources which you MUST study. You will need to sit and pass a multiple-choice exam on the morning of the first day of your course to evidence that you have completed the mandatory distance learning. From April 1st this course will require a first aid qualification before you can take the training. This should be an Emergency First Aid at work certificate or higher. These improvements have been made to expertise the private and public security sector for all individuals. The teachers are fully trained and qualified to carry the course including their counterparts that they need: Emergency First Aid at Work, Health and Safety FIRST AID CERTIFICATE - If you are taking Door Supervision or Security Officer training, you will need to provide that you hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate that meets the requirements based on the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 that each learner is sufficiently qualified in First Aid or Emergency First Aid and this certificate must be valid for at least 12 months from the security course start date.
